This policy covers impact-software.ch and related communications. Separate privacy policies may apply to Impact Digital and the independent e-commerce brands. Third-party websites linked from our website are subject to their own privacy policies.

2. Legal framework and principles

We process personal data for specified purposes and proportionately under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Where the GDPR applies, processing may rely on pre-contractual measures or contract performance, legitimate interests (such as IT security and communications), legal obligations or consent.

3. Technical data collected during website visits

When you access the website, we may process your IP address, date and time, pages visited, browser and device information, operating system, language settings, referring URL and error or security logs. This is necessary for operation, stability, troubleshooting, security and misuse prevention. Technical information may also constitute personal data.

4. Contact and business communications

If you contact us by email, telephone or an available contact form, we process your name, company, contact details, enquiry and subsequent correspondence. This is used to respond to enquiries, initiate business relationships, perform contracts and meet legal obligations. Please avoid sending sensitive personal data unless necessary.

5. Cookies and consent

The website uses technically necessary cookies or comparable storage technologies for operation, security and preferences. Analytics technologies are also used. An in-house cookie consent solution ensures that services requiring consent are activated only after consent and lets you change or withdraw your choices for the future at any time via cookie settings. Cookies can also be managed in your browser, which may restrict certain functions.

6. Hosting and services

Infomaniak

The intended hosting infrastructure uses Infomaniak Network SA in Switzerland. Technical connection data and server logs may be processed. The actual hosting provider must be confirmed before publication.

Google Tag Manager

Used to manage and deploy website tags. Technical information may be transmitted to Google. Tags requiring consent are controlled accordingly.

Google Analytics

Used for statistical website analytics, such as page views and usage patterns. Technical information, usage data and identifiers may be transmitted to Google. Consent is obtained before activation where required.

Microsoft Clarity

Used to analyse usability through interaction and session data; depending on configuration, session recordings may be generated. Technical information and pseudonymous identifiers may be processed. Consent is obtained before activation where required, and sensitive input fields must be masked.

Not used

The intended corporate website does not use Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel or online-shop payment services. Any future use of embedded maps, videos, anti-spam services or externally loaded fonts must be assessed separately.

7. Purposes and recipients

We process data to operate and secure the website, communicate and initiate business relationships, improve our services and comply with legal obligations. Carefully selected hosting, IT, analytics and communications providers may receive data to the extent necessary. Access within the company is limited to those who need it. Disclosures required or permitted by law, including to authorities, remain possible. We do not sell personal data.

8. International transfers

Google and Microsoft services may involve processing outside Switzerland, including in the United States. We comply with applicable international transfer requirements, such as recognised adequacy arrangements or appropriate contractual safeguards where required. Specific recipients, countries and safeguards must be checked against the actual contracts and configurations before publication.

9. Security and retention

We apply appropriate technical and organisational security measures, such as encrypted transmission, access controls, security updates, logging and backups, depending on the actual infrastructure. Absolute security cannot be guaranteed. Data is retained only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose or legal obligations. Cookies and analytics data are subject to the configured retention periods.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable legal requirements, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of processing, object to processing and withdraw consent for the future. Additional GDPR rights and rights to complain to a competent supervisory authority may apply. Contact info@impact-software.ch. We may request reasonable proof of identity.

11. Automated decisions and updates

Under the intended use of the corporate website, we do not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. We may update this policy to reflect technical, organisational or legal changes. The version published on the website is authoritative.
